Review: Snipped in the Bud
Snipped in the Bud by Kate Collins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I loved it! This series just gets better with each installment. I have already moved on to #5, Acts of Violets. I just love the character development, and I feel like I know each one personally. I could really relate to this particular book in the series because I had some rather irrational college professors while I was getting my Undergrad degree. Thank goodness that my Graduate school professors were fabulous, or I might have written off going further in my education.

Clearly, we are back on the Flower Shop bandwagon! I believe this is one of the best books in the series. It was put together very well, and the flow was just right. I loved the characters, and now feel as if I know them personally. What I really like about this series, is that it is like a mini soap opera with all the right ingredients thrown in – A little mystery, a little suspense, a little romance, a little family drama… I am definitely moving on to #4, Snipped in the Bud.

Review: Slay It with Flowers
Slay It with Flowers by Kate Collins
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Although it seemed that the storyline was a little more convoluted than the first book in the series, I must say that I am still very much interested. The beginning was a little difficult to follow, and it really did not seem to go anywhere at first. But, as I continued to read, it seemed to pick up and become quite engaging. I just love the characterization in this series, and I really liked the little tidbits of information, ranging from flowers to food. However, being somewhat of a wine connoisseur, myself, I must protest that Dark Chocolate goes better with RED wine. ![]()

Review: Mum’s the Word
Mum’s the Word by Kate Collins

Wow! What can I say? This was such an interesting mystery that I read it in 2 days. Abby Knight is definitely one of my new favorite amateur sleuths. I just couldn’t put this book down. The characters were well thought out, and each had their own interesting quirks and personality traits. I am on my way to picking up the second eBook in the series, Slay It With Flowers.
Review: The Cat, The Professor and the Poison
The Cat, The Professor and the Poison by Leann Sweeney

I absolutely loved it! I was just as good as the first book of the series, if not better. Of course, I found it funny that most of my real life interests are found in this book – Cats, Technology, etc… All that aside, I thought that the characters are well played out, and all have their own well thought out personalities. I felt like I have just made some new friends to hang out with, albeit fictional ones. ![]()
