Review: The Cat, The Quilt and The Corpse
The Cat, The Quilt and The Corpse by Leann Sweeney
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I thought this was a fantastic book, especially if you are a cat lover like me! The book is written in first person, which is my absolute favorite way to write a cozy mystery. It makes everything more personal and intriguing. The characters were well thought out, and the individual personalities came through. All in all, this is a great lazy afternoon, with a cup of tea, read.

Review: The Merlot Murders
The Merlot Murders by Ellen Crosby
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I liked this book, overall. The beginning is a little strange in the relationships between the characters. The animosity between the characters is hard to figure out. However, as the story went on, it was much more interesting. I am glad that I stuck with it, and plan on going on in the series!

Review: Royal Flush
Royal Flush by Rhys Bowen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
What can I say? It is another great installment in Her Royal Spyness series. Although some of the scenes that Georgie gets involved in are a little more far-fetched that those of previous books, I still loved it. This is rainy day, Sunday afternoon, escapism at its best.

Review: Her Royal Spyness
Her Royal Spyness by Rhys Bowen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This was one of the most fantastic historical mysteries that I have read in a while. I honestly could not put it down. The main character, Georgie, is an extremely likable heroine. I liked the author’s decision to write in the first person, which made each scene very vivid and intriguing. I got to see the inner workings of her mind, as she searched to unravel the mystery. I would highly recommend this book, and I can hardly wait to start book #2, A Royal Pain.
